Hey, I was just wondering what others are paying for prices on the oil filter and oil? The local harley shop sells their synthetic oil for $8.49/qt, I called autozone and they sell Mobil 1 V-Twin for $7.99/qt. I paid $12.95 for my oil filter from the dealership. What do the other brands of oil filters cost and where do you get them? Are the oil filters the same for that bike as they are the 04 sportsters? If they are the same it's odd because my friend only had to pay $9 for a chrome oil filter for his 04 883. Thanks for any info | ||

do a search in the knowledge vault I believe there was a conversation on different filters that can be bought from autoparts stores. | ||

Ted, Sorry dude, no. I just got the Buell split electrode ones though. Haven't tried 'em yet. Looks like a PITA to install the back one. | ||
