A little clunk when I hold the front brake and move the bike back n forth. Spongey or soft front end. A noticeable knock when the bike is in gear and moving. The motor actually moves/vibrates about a quarter of an inch when I rev it up. I had the airbox and filter off and revved it up and it sounded like something was slapping against the bottom of the airbox base. Broken motor mount mabye? |

actually i think you are describing two different conditions. the front clunk when moving bike with front brake on is normal for a floating rotor. the second condition of the motor shaking a full quarter of an inch is probably the front isolator. |

How do I check/replace it? |

Have someone watch the assembly as you put the bike in gear with the front brake set. Let out the clutch till it starts to put tension on the front end. if the isolator moves excessively(more than about 1/8-3/16 of an inch) you're due for a new one. |

As far as replacement goes...You will need a full set of SAE allen wrenches, a 1" open end wrench, a jack to put under the engine, and a shop manual. Oh, yeah. And eat your wheaties. Them bolts are tight |
