Almost...I got Best Sport Custom Runner-Up. We went to these drag races and bike show yesterday. We paid admission and parked. There were 6 of us...My '03 9S, my brother's '05 12R, LazyMe's '03 9R, an '05 R6, '05 GSXR 750, '05 ZX6. After we all got off our bikes, a guy walked up to us and asked us if we were in the show. Apparently we parked in the show area. We said no, but one of the guys we were with asked if he could enter, how much it was, etc. The three of us on the Buells heard $30 and left to go park in the lot. We met back up with them where they were entering and found out that there was no additional entry fee to be in the show, so we ran back and got our bikes and entered them. Registration was funny...nobody could figure out which class to put us in. -"What kind of bike is it?" -(Me)"Buell" -"Is it a sport bike, Harley, Chopper...?" -(Me)"Well, it's a sport bike with a Harley engine." -"Ummmmmmm, ok well we'll put you in the Harley Custom Sport category...the judges will move it if they don't think it's correct." So we ended up getting put into the Harley Sport Custom class. Our bikes were so dirty...it was almost embarrassing entering them in the show as dirty as it was. On top of the dirt that was on it, we got caught in some rain on the way to the show. Here's some pictures I just took. It's still just as dirty      And here's the plaque I won:  | ||

I think thats great! You won a plack at a Harley show! Is everyone getting tired of the same old scene? never thought a Buell would win at an event like that. | ||

You can't tell how dirty it is in the pictures. It's probably been between 1500-2000 miles since I washed it. Don't get me wrong though...it's been much, much worse before |
