I bought a foldable ramp a couple of months ago at one of the local tool stores. It's one that is wide enough for using on mowers, four wheelers, etc. I don't remember the exact length but it's around 6ft. I like the width but after having to load the bike a couple of times I would like to have one a bit longer. Both times I backed up to a curb and it was still a bit of an angle to get in the my full size truck. Anybody got any experience with any longer foldable ramps and where would you get one???
While the ramp I"ve got will work here in my driveway if I take some longer trips pulling by travel trailer I'd like to take the bike along and would like to make it easier to load and unload...And for the emergencies when your bike eats it's stator and regulators...grrrrr
: )

I bought a set of these www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=6970&produ ctId=200270024&R=200270024

I load the bike on a Nissan pu, and they work
fine. Arch in ramp helps a lot.

Some people use two ramps on a full size truck,
one to walk up.

The ramps come with tie downs, to hold the ramps in place while loading.
You have to assemble the ramps, a bunch of bolts.

You could split the cost with someone, if you only
want or need one.

I have a decent three bend aluminum curved ramp I bought at Walmart for $65.00 I use it with my XB12S and the curved angle is cool and it is short when folded.
