That’s right; toilets flow backwards in Australia right?

Check your baggage at the door.

Tell that to BadWeber CruiSin.
Who has oil all over the left side of his
bike.

Heres his bike.

I started making the catch can because I was
asked to by BadWebers who were having this problem.
I'll make some stacks when I'm asked also.

oil

Sometimes oil flowing out of the filter is an indication of oil overfill. I learned to fill the oil to the recommended level and don't have any problem with any oil spit issue. Whatever little amount it spits out is caught by the filter. I just take a cloth and swipe it off once in a while. I thought I needed a catch can, but didn't experience any need for it. FYI, mine is routed to the left side of the engine, behind the oil cooler.

like i said if you need a catch can then buell would have put one there, if you need one then you are merly addressing the problem at the end of the line rather then the start.

Whats this australia talk i am in canada you are mistaking me for someone else.

And I suppose you aren't concerned with warm blow by contaminating what should be cool clean air?

Whatever...

im not concerned at all.

obviously neither were the engineers at buell.

and yes you are right M1 it is just hot air and every three years maybe a drop of oil.

probably get more oil coming from the dipstick when you check it then from those hoses.

maybe norris can make up a dipstick catch can.

God damn my bike was filthy in that pic.

Although I have to admit that some of the oil on the primary was probably caused by rain washing some of the K&N oil out of the little filter (another reason to hide it like Mike did)
