Are there any companies that make a full lower fairing/engine cover for the XB9R Firebolts? meaning a fairing that will meet up to the stock upper fairing to cover the engine area. Please any help would be great. thank you p.s. - If possible can you email me with any info at silverbullet2005@hotmail.com |

How does that affect the air-cooling on the street? |

The ones on racingmotorcycles.com appear to be race versions only (no headlight holes). I know Hal's has it on their site. |

hals? what is the actual website. I was just looking on the other site as well and noticed that the fairing didn't have headlight holes. I would like one with the headlight holes. any other sites? |

i checked into this about a month ago and the one from racingmotorcycles is cheaper but i was told by someone that has the one from hals that he checked both and he felt the one from hals was alot more durable. he races and needs that. he sells and races buells so i take his word for it. |

I looked on the Halspa.com site and the street version is $895, Thepup where did you find the difference of $400. the other site has the race version for $220 so the difference from race to street version is $675. |

The racingmotorcycles site required you to purchase the lower separate. |

the lower is 180 the upper is 220 and i was told that there would have to be some mods other than the headlights when mounting i dont know specifics of what but i would be sure to ask before i bought the one from racingmotorcycles. |

sounds like a big pain in the rear end to me, personally I would rather just pay the extra coin for the street version that would just bolt right up. Does anyone have pictures from the seat point of view looking at the handle bars with the full fairing on? |

I like the XB's both ways, with and without the full fairing but If/when I get mine I would like to get the full fairing just because you don't see them on buells very often. |

that is exactly why I would want it, plus I think they look cool and set the bike off. Does anyone else have a site or know of a place to find the street version fairing at a better price than $895 |

The $895 is for all 3 pieces. The upper, the lower and the tail section. You can save a few bucks ($180-200) by staying with your stock tail. You'd have to call and talk to Jim Winters at Hal's PA to verify that though. |

Any idea if the upper fairing is shaped so that an XB Lightning's lights/guages will fit underneath? That would be sweet for a track day, no? |

I emailed the sebimoto distributor to see what the cost is of the fairing. really $895 isn't that bad for the full body kit that comes with all three pieces. you could paint the rear section and keep it as a back up or sell it if you don't need it. I like the looks of the pre molded/cut out headlights on the street version better than I do the the looks of having to cut out holes and just seeing two round headlights. I think If I were to get the full fairing I would have to go with the street version. I think for $895 the bracket kit should be included but I believe that's sold seperate. |
