any input on the life expectancy of the clutch cable on a 12? I have an '04 12 R with a little over 7K, and am going on a three day 950 + mile trip. I was wondering if it should maybe be changed before hand, or not. Any experience would be appreciated, Thanks

I would suggest just getting a spare and bringing it along. If you study it well, and the manual, you can change it roadside if you are careful. Just remember to also bring a bottle of what ever flavor your feeding the primary as you will loose some when you unscrew the clutch cable housing from the primary.
