i want to get her an xb but the only thing she fits on is the 12scg. she really isn't a fan of the blast and most of all why the fuq did they have to discontinue the xb9s low? FYI: she is only 5'4" tall so she can barely tippi toe on my 9r as long as i soften the suspension up. |

Talk to Dave about the XB9RRL (really, really, low) he had worked up for Claudia |

Last time I looked, there were still quite a few new leftover 2003 XB9S Lows out there. But it has been a couple of months. Good luck, Bill |

no offense intended here, but my 5 foot 2, 105 pound counterpart REALLY REALLY likes her Ducati M620. Very easy to lower the ducati 1.5 inches, and with the Leo vince exhaust it weighs 405 pounds full of fuel. makes a very nice wife bike, and you wont mind borrowing it once in a while. |

i am thinking od something less than 10k but not a terd mobile and something stylsh. Now i do understand that trying to put all those things together with a woman might be impossible but i have to figure it out sometime soon or by the time riding season comes in full speed i might be without a xb9r due to her desire to run off with it because there isn't one for her. |

I'm 5'5" and when I got my XB9R I was on my tippy toes. A friend who had an SL swapped suspension with me and it worked wonders. I'm not quite flat footed but almost. Talk to Dave

Just lower a 9r and make her happy, or buy the 12cg and swap suspensions and you keep the 12. |

Daves, what parts are involved in creating that XB9RRL? I think that's going to be one of my future conversions. |

XB12scg05, Sorry I missed you during Bike Week, I did meet a bunch of BadWebbers at Hooters. We must try to have a bigger get together come Biketoberfest or sooner. What a bunch of great people. Wish I had taken a few days off to hang out with them. Al |

My wife just demo'd a 12CG and she's hooked. Loved the hell out of it. I've had her riding a Blast for the last 9 months, and she rode it up to Liberty HD last week to see Erik - even got it signed. It was her first bike, and she is definitely ready for something more. She took a spin on the XB12Scg, and loved the hell out of it. Short of a Buell, she fit just fine on a SV1000s. She's 5'5" and 125, if it helps for comparison. Oh, and Ducatis for some reason fit women like a glove, for the most part. |

Oh, and you can find an '03 9SL no problem. They should be selling for about $6800 or so before tax title and tags. |

the only thing she fits on is the 12scg...she is only 5'4" tall so she can barely tippi toe on my 9r OK, I'm 5'4" also. I've never owned a bike I could "flatfoot." And although I demoed both the XB9S and XB9SL, I preferred the regular height version. I recently bought an XB9R, and the only fit problem I'm having is the reach to the bars (not a problem with the Lightning). Seriously, I hardly notice the seat height... There are things your wife can do, like get a pair of thick-soled riding boots (like the Daytona Ladystars)aimed specifically at this problem (they have a thick sole, add about an inch of height--this short rider wears them. Have her also take a look at this site if she really thinks her height is a problem! |

We just bought a Ninja 500 for my wife...good performance, super reliable, affordable, low seat height... She felt she just wasn't ready to graduate to the S3T, and the S3T was having FI issues which made it even harder to ride. So she bestowed the tuber on me, and we got her a Ninja 500 for the time being. |
