i'm pricing out what it would cost to convert my S tail to a R tail. i've found all the part info and prices in the KV. a few questions remain... are the passenger footpeg supports/mounts the same on both models? will i be able to get by using a 9s service manual (my brother has a 12R i can use as a reference while doing the conversion)? i dont know much about bodywork/paint...what "should" it cost to get a R tail section painted (say if i bought a used white one)? thank you for any help offered. | ||

Any other help you need just ask, you will need to extend your turn signal and break light wires. You will need to fabricate a bracket to hold your break resevoir. You will need to fabricate a battery tie down. the undertray will need to be cut a little to allow room for the cables you will see when you fit it all back to gether exactly where you will need to cut. other than that almost every bolts right back up to existing locations using the existing hardware. | ||
