i dropped the bike a month ago and it ran a couple times after, then it wouldnt start from then on. I took the plugs out today and cleaned them up but now its only starting on one cylinder. any suggestions to what it may be other than plugs? |

make certain the plug wires are firmly seated at both the plug and coil. Check your coil connections to make certain there is no chaffing anywhere. Those are the usual culprits. |

pull your lower airbox plate and then pull the entire coil and look it over real good. |

The plug wires are short and its a real tight space to get the wires secure on the plugs. When I first got my bike it did the same thing,(except for being dropped) It ran great the day I picked it up, I went to start it for my friends and it ran on one cylinder. the front cylinder wire was not "clicked" on the front plug, I slid the boot up made sure it was secure on the spark plug and slid the boot down over the porcelin, end of problem. |

While you've got all of this apart, be sure to use a dab of dielectric grease on both ends of each wire. This aids in a stronger spark and keeps various water sources from shorting it out. |

My sister-in-laws Blast runs the same way. Always sounds like it's only running on one cylinder. |

chris, I need a pic of her to believe she has a blast. I had issues getting the wire to snap in place so i pulled the boot up at the plug side and its all good there. Im gonna take a look at the coil this weekend./ |
