Wondering about what seat to go with for my '05 XB9SX. I'm 5'8" and the stock seat is a little too high for me. What did you all go with? |

Well, let's see. I started with the "Low" seat. Graduated to the Buell Streetfighter seat. Then I thought that I would try the stock 12S seat that has the carbon fiber "look". Currently, I'm back to the Streetfighter seat and looking to get a Corbin seat. Whew!!! But, I must say that the Streetfighter seat is the most comfortable of the three seats I've owned. It would also lower your rider height from the SX. -Brad |

I just ordered a Corbin from Daves. I hope it's as good as everybody says. |

Yeah, the guys at the dealership were saying that the 9's and the 12's were interchangeable and I was wondering if anyone had ordered and installed a 12 seat. I'm leaning towards the Corbin myself. |

I have to say the Corbin is amazing. It looks much better and is quite a bit more comfy than the stocker. It makes hanging off much easier. |

Hey Pat- As you can see, I put the 12S seat on my XB9S. They ARE interchangeable. -Brad |

I will add a 16000 mile vote for the streetfighter seat. |

As far as comfort is concerned, I am very happy with my Streetfighter seat. I am now looking for something more custom; hence the Corbin. |

Streetfighter seat works real well for me. I recommend it, especially if you're strapped for cash the way I seem to be a lot of the time. I bought mine from someone that bought the Corbin. I think Corbin will customize the seat stitching and colors at no extra cost. |
