I know this has been addressed before but I can't find it using a search. I heard something about a mirror kit fix. Anybody have any info on this? |

My wife put some bar end mirrors on her R. Night and day difference. If there is a fix for the other mirrors I would also like to know. g u s |

I got the 04 mirrors and put them on my 03R so I was able to see without getting neckstrain. The mirror started to flop around and wouldn't tighten up. Finally the mirror fell off the end. There is a nut with a spring on the inside that fits onto the post from the fairing. (found this out by trying to repair it) I haven't got it down yet, but I ended up breaking a corner of the mirror just trying to get it apart, just to see how it worked. Somehow they were able to pop the mirror into the plastic. Next time I will try some hot water to see if one is able to get it out in that fashion. If you think that is too much trouble, the mirrors are only about $22.00. I'm just a cheapskate. |

I don't think they applied their mass centralization concept to the mirrors. Go with the bar end mirrors. I love mine. 12 bucks at the bicycle shop. |
