I took the advice from the badweb guys a while back and decided to order the "baffle pipe" from jp cycles. The baffle pipe creates much needed back pressure on the bike.
The 90degree bend from the header is a 2inch piece of exhaust pipe that is welded to the 2inch opening of the baffle pipe.
The baffle pipe goes from 2 inches down to 1.75 inches in the middle and back out to 2inches out the back. Creating the back pressure needed.
There is piece of 2inch exhaust bent out to clear the tire and exit on the left side.
The bracket is made from 1/4inch steel and was crudely fabed at a local metal working shop.
It is held to the engine using the same bolts but with a flat and lock washer to be extra sure it holds.
I have ridden over 500miles and no problems.

"and was crudely fabed " yes i agree with your description. bet it makes a cool racket. have you ridden at night? bet the flame color changes with load and rpm. see if you can get some one (with earplugs) to take some night pictures of you throttle open, like to see some blue flames.

Hey fullpower i've ridden at night but I havent had any report flames coming out of the bike, i'd love to see that also. so far no reports or flames though. It is super loud. I wear a earplugs a beanie and my helmet and even then I know i get some serious loud noise in my head.
