asked what was goin' on with HD dealers and Buell? I was told that they ( HD of Frederick ) is very committed to Buell, and expect a new shipment of Buell gear this spring. I was also told that we can expect 2 new models this summer ( early '06 models ) that will be XB based, but will make those 'ol touring tuber guys happy. I know there are some info wizards out there, so what's up? Any truth to the new models? |

I don't know about the new models. But my harley dealership has turned into a huge buell dealership. They just got 18 bikes in. Makes me very happy to see all those bikes. I know that soon there are going to be a lot more buell owners here in cleveland. Very cool. |

I thought I heard/read something somewhere the Buell was going to introduce some new bike at Daytona this year...whether it was a new production model, concept or just a race bike I have no idea...or if theres any truth to anything remotely close to what I heard/read at all. About the dealers thing, I don't know much about it but from what I've heard/read HD/Buell just wanted to restructure which HD dealerships sell Buells. Theres a lot of HD dealerships that weren't too thrilled about Buells and showed no effort for the product. So I guess HD/Buell only wants HD dealerships that are serious about Buells to be able to sell & service Buells. I think theres about 5 HD dealers in the Kansas City Metro area and now only 1 is an authorized Buell dealer. |

The dealer I bought my bike from this summer has just been informed it will no longer be a Buell dealer. I don't really understand it because I had a good buying experience and they seemed enthusiastic about Buells. From their perspective Harley is dictating who is a Buell dealer and who isn't. Their prices were better than the other dealers also. |

Buell did announce in January at the H-D/Buell Winter Dealer Meeting that they will be introducing two new models for 2006. These models will not be debuting at Daytona and will not become public until the H-D/Buell Summer Dealer Show this July in Denver. |

Be nice if folks got a sneak peek in June, or maybe test rides on a test mule on the b'trax, if they have a b'trax that is. |

Be nice if folks got a sneak peek in June Instead of all those "spy" photos; you ever notice they're never clear enough to really see any detail, sucks that does. |

I've been to the HD/Buell dealerships in the OKC Oklahoma area and they don't have any Buell apparel, Bikes, or many parts in stock. I would like to open a Buell only dealership in my area. It really sucks when you go into the dealership and there are 30 or 40 HD bikes that in my opinion all mostly look alike. I say get rid of a couple of Sportsters and add some XB's. It is nice though to ride my '03 XB9R around town and know I'm probably one of a handful of people in the state that has one. |

Glitch...I have a feeling that if they employ the same strategy as they did when introducing the Street Rod, we will know all there is to know virtually within hours of the dealer intro. Not to mention, you have to admit that it is better to hear about what is new from your supplier than your customers. Still, I can't get over how tight lipped the MC Press was with the Street Rod intro. It really says a lot about their credibility. They had to have had knowledge up to three months in advance to coordinate all the ads and reviews that soon after the dealer intro. |

Glitch...You are a good man for doing so. Hopefully, like the Street Rod, the new Buell's will be at the dealerships soon after the announcement. That way those of us in the snowbelt can have a chance to test, buy and ride them before the 2005 riding season expires. |

I know the dealers that are Buell friendly order the new bikes as soon as they can. Delivery of said bikes is another story. The demand for the new bikes will be bigger than ever, I'll put money on it. |
