I know its is still snowing up here but i was looking for a show of hands for people who live in upstate NY. Try to get some people together this spring and summer for some interesting trips. I'm in albany and am counting the days until i can get the bike out of the garage |

Live in Scranton, but spend weekends in Watertown and all points between. Lemmie know and I'll ride wit 'cha. PS- went riding yesterday. STU-PID. Yes, I know that's the conventional answer, but hey, it was sunny and the roads were dry, so what the heck? Big grins until I made the mistake was trying to get up my buddy's two-hundred yard UNPLOWED (slight-) UPHILL access road. The Dunlops just sat and spun and spun and spun... |

Lonexb How are you doing? I have not seen you for a while. How's your brother and the new Road Glide? After seeing his I traded my Road King and got a 05 Road Glide. My Buell is in the shop and I hope it will be fixed this week. Rode to Port Jeff last Sunday and the bike started to run like cr-p. I will be up for a ride upstate soon. yea i tried getting the xb out of my garage ....which is under my place. Only way to get to driveway is up steep grassy/muddy/snowy hill. So i got 3 ft up it and started spinning. Needless to say i went mud bogging with a clean bike. I'm sure my neighbors thought it was funny to watch me spin the tires, fling mud all over myself and swear all at the same time... |

I keep running into XB's around home...anyone recognize this one? I saw it sitting on Madison, pulled alongside, shot some pics and noticed the tags was gone. Figured he was working in Brooks Brothers or something.

I live in Newport Ri now but I go to the Albany area alot. I am from there and my parents still live there, and I am sure that my Dad is itching to get his new (to him) Speed triple out and about. I have to go to Brunswick HD soon to get my new Scorpion Sync put on. Keep us posted of any rides in that area as the roads are fantastic! |

Court, since when is madison and 44th upstate ? Well if ever find yer way north and west to our part of NY, give me a call. We'll take you out for a ride to the Curtiss Museum and then over to the Dino for lunch (good bike parking and no need to visit the dumpster) Matt |

>>>since when is madison and 44th upstate ? You are talking to a person who, at the drop of a hat, has ridden Buells from Topeka, KS to both coasts for lunch. Upstate, for what it's worth, is but a chip shot from where I am at. This is a bike that begs for serious miles. Not sure where you draw the line but both Henrik and I have logged many miles in the Catskills...but, then, that may be "mid-state". Maybe I should move to New Jersey (like everyone else who started in Broolyn), it's small enough all you have to be from is...well, New Jersey. Go have fun. |

Sorry Court, but I have to pick on you here. "at the drop of a hat, has ridden Buells from Topeka, KS to both coasts for lunch. Upstate, for what it's worth, is but a chip shot from where I am at." But you can't make it to Vermont? The Catskills are nice...we rally there a couple times a year...but you really need to come check out the gap roads...nothing like leaving it in 2nd gear for a few miles of tight twisties! |

Court, I consider a long ride more than 4 digits in a day ,ask V2win about when he found me in the dark at the overlook (start of Deals Gap). And I've done Syracuse NY to Kansas City,KS in less than 24hrs. So I'm with you on the riding thing. Hope to get down to NYC sometime or see you at a Brag event maybe. Paulinoz speaks highly of you and your ability to show off NYC. (met him at the running the ridge event last year) Having fun Matt |
