s'up Dave. Have you seen the hooded sweatshirt before? I'm wondering about sizing. Is a medium really a medium? eg: 5'10" 170lb. |

Who is up for a Buell On-line store? If you go to buell.com and take their new survey, one of the questions is something like...."would you like to see an online store for merchadicse" ANSWER YES!!!!! Why is it we have to order through a dealership? Makes NO sense to me, the consumer. |

Considering EVERY HD Dealer in SouthEast Michigan has stopped carrying Buell merchandise,,,,AND BIKES. I think it would be smart for Buell to make available through their site the ability to spend $$$$$. Obviously Local Detroit dealers dont want it! yeah I'm a little bitter. |

I feel ya T, Now that I no longer work at a dealer I really feel sorry for people who don;t live within distance Of people like Dave S. And NOW the Detroit area dealers have the nerve to set up a ripoff BattleTrax. How are a bunch of dealers who don;t even stock Buell clothing going to know how to throw a BattleTrax style event let alone set up a corse that won't kill anyone!?!?! Even the dealer that I got my bike from has stopped carrying the Buell apparel. They have their last two t-shirts on sale for $10. They're still carrying the Buell line up though. I got my Buell riding jacket there for half price. They told me there is no market for it. Well lets hope Buell.com will come through. Hey Daves let us know when you get shirts in and I need a new Buell hat with the blue lettering. Brupska |

When I took the survey, I voted for a Buell on-line store. If I want Buell stuff, online is the only option open to me because the only Harley dealer within an hour of me doesn't carry much Buell stuff, although they actually have a nice selection of bikes.. Kathy |

I think there is an arguement that can be made for Buell apparel on-line. It was actually ready for roll out several (8) year ago and was nixed. Buell, in my PERSONAL opinion, needs to be designed by someone outside the HD paradigm. When it was, in 1994/1995 we got some killer goods. The stuff now has the appearance of being the afterthought of someone who just did a HD shirt. The quantities that Buell gear sells in make it a dicey prop for many dealers to stock. Even one of each size, needed to have it "in stock" is tough. It is possible to do the apparel online and credit the dealer for his booty on any sale in his zip code. Keep talking....eager to hear more. Court |

that would make it a lot easier on those of us that may not have access to a dealer other than by phone and/or internet. |

Brupska, "Even the dealer that I got my bike from has stopped carrying the Buell apparel" When I bought my bike from the LARGEST HD dealer in Michigan 2 years ago, they carried EVERYTHING. Last year they phased out all the clothes (Yeah I got some good deals, bought 1 of everything practically) This year NEW for 05, they dropped the bikes too. This seems to be the trend for ALL the dealers in Southeast MI, I have yet to find one carrying clothes or accessories and I have been to 5 dealers that surround Detroit. My Question is: Who is the "Customer SUPPORTING" Dealership that this BUELL Customer should be supporting. I'm in a MAJOR Metro Area. NOT one SUPPORTING Dealership. That Ducati I have had my eye on is looking real good. |

I would be happy to shop online, tell them who my dealer is, and go there to pick it up (without paying shipping costs). This is more or less what I do today anyway, except I call the dealer and have them order it before I drive over. This would be the same deal, just easier for everyone. |

Yeah i work in North West Ohio and our one shop has a few buell shirts, and they even have some of the Buell Vanson Leathers. When Battle Trax was at our shop i got a load of Ts but i was giving them out to all the buell guys that would stop by the shop and talk to me about buells or my bike...i gave so many out i forgot to keep on for myself |

Spidey, You know I attempted to start a BRAG chapter out of Wolverine, and I was lead to believe they were going to continue to support Buell. On a recent trip to get a new headlight lamp (they did NOT Stock)I asked George if they were going to take the Buell sign off the building, ABC already did. He would not reply other than to state, they will order a bike for a customer, but will not stock Buell. I asked (and you would think he would know) Which dealer in the Detroit Area will support Buell, HE DID NOT KNOW! Shouldnt he know this? Maybe I expect too much? but I spent $10,000.00 and since then have spent another $3000.00 on this bike, and I'm not done. when I bought the bike, I was so impressed with the buying experience at HD, totally NOT what I had expected. I feel let down by BUELL and HD. |

Tim, You shouldn't feel let down by Buell or HD. It is the dealers decision to have Buell or not. If anyone has let you down it is them, not the factory. I would also be surprised if no dealers in the area were going to have Buells. I just had a call from another rider from another area of the country that had heard that no dealers in his metro were going to have Buell anymore. In his case that was just not true. He will probably have 3 to choose from for service(hope he still gets his parts from me!) Dave PS Thanks for all the business! (Message edited by daves on March 06, 2005) |

I'd love to see online ordering for apparel and parts. Having someone to call or e-mail (Daves) is great, but how about an online store? I guess I don't feel worried about the loss of dealerships - I never had one nearby to begin with. It's three hours to Meredith, NH - the closest dealer to me. Luckily they have been great, and plan on keeping Buells for a while. The sales manager rides one herself, as do a few of the people who work there. It's still too far away to just make a stop when I need something... |

I know this helps very few of you, but if in the norther IL / southern WI area - Uke's carrys a really good selection of Buell clothing. Last time I was up there they even had t-shits in kids' sizes so you could infect the next gen as well. |
