OFF! Allow me to explain. At my old home, that's how we greeted the new posters. That's a brief intro, I'm sure there'll be more for everyone to get the feel of the "other" board. Danny Started on BadWeB when it was an e-mail list |

Danny Started on BadWeB when it was an e-mail list So that entitles you to come to Badweb and spew the profanities allowed at Sacborg? EEEEWwwwwwwwww,i'm so impressed that you were here the day Badweb was launched. You,re tooooooo full of yourself. I wasn't here then, but at that time i was riding a Buell. |

Ducxl, Carpetbagging is on the list of things Danny has never done. He is truly a straightforward non-pretensious person. You are waaaaaaay over in left field on this one. Trust me, you have misunderstood/misjudged him. What entitles him to come here is the fact that: 1. He is welcome. 2. He was invited. 3. He chose to. Your posts typically toward the Sacborg folks are serious fellowship spoilers. You really know how to wreck a thread. |

Geesh. Funny, I can't bring myself to not like either site, and can't bring myself to dislike the people on both sites. Must be me I think I met Danny once in 2001. He went out of his way to be helpful, polite, and gave me great advice (saving me money) on shifter detente updated plates, and that stupid little circlip that holds it on, and took a lot of time to package up a primary gasket so I could take it carry on on an airplane. When Modesto stopped selling Buell, Buell lost something very good. |

So that entitles you to come to Badweb and spew the profanities allowed at Sacborg? Yes. Yes it does. Well, that, and Blake's setting up of this section until ours is back up. Maybe you missed the blue tint when you entered this section of the site? Profanities? Did you also miss the red dots? If you're color-blind, my apologies, if you're just a retard, well.... I wasn't here then, but at that time i was riding a Buell. I don't believe you. Or, since we're on SacBoard, bull$hit. You left the Badweb behind long ago. And if it hadn't been for some 12 y.o. hacker in Denmark (and Blake's hospitality), I'd be gone now, instead of amusing myself with your stupid ass. To quote the underpants gnome in South Park “Is that all you got, pu$$y?” BTW, welcome to SacBORG. Now, OFF! |

I think I met Danny once in 2001. I think you're right, Reep, I seem to remember a situation like that. Glad to be of service. Hmm, is green better than blue against a blue background? |

1. They're former Buell owners who had a problem with their Buell that caused them to fall out of love with the brand. Their newfound lack of love was proclaimed repeatedly, to the custodians' perceived detriment of BadWeb. 2. Banned members of BadWeb, for various reasons. And/or friends of banned members who didn't agree with the bannings. 3. People who like bikes AND colorful/salty language. i.e. people who prefer a bar to church. I thought you guys' referred to this site as "Bedwetters?" To Jon,and all of you Sacborgers,i apologize for my divisive behavior.Deep down i wish i was a contributing member of your community Yeah,i'm CERTAINLY a retard who's currently machining a set of Pistal pistons to fit a desmoquattro...THAT'S retarded |

Duc.... Don't blame "Bedwetters" on Danny, or anyone else; That's my term of endearment for this site. And Danny? Couldn't agree with Jon more. Along the SadSACK spectrum Danny is so close to the Nice End that he could almost be a Bedwetter |

"OLD man"...that was funny! But be wary Greg, he has chain saws and sharp hooks and dangerous stuff like that..as well as a very fast motorcycle. On the other hand, I've seen a pic of Ducxl's garage. It looks like it's part of the living room....as it should be. Man, I gota get back to the top of Mt. Washington...a slow ride but pretty scenic for a flat lander. |

Gads. . . . imagine how that comment cut folks like Reg and I to the quick? I've got to tell you . . . after years of trying, I'm still focking not able to grasp the concept of "liking" or "not liking" folks based on theiier choice of motorcycle. In my travels and "life experiences" I've found that the normal distribution of assholes has little to do, and is not confined to the subset of, folks who own motorcycles. I know most the folks from SacBorg and to cast some general statement, as has been done, is pretty narrow minded. Court (old, tired and worn out) |

Court, I think Reg covered it by saying, (when the Borg was up), "If I have to worry about what my friends think about what kind of bike I ride, then they're not my friends." Apology to Reg if I slaughtered that quote. |

Ducxl, you might consider an apology to Danny. Just a thought. When Modesto was dealing Buell parts they were the best people in the business. Danny befriended many of us who were trying to keep our tubers on the road. It was a shame we lost them as a resource for Buell parts. Danny has a great deal of respect among us old guys. One last thing, it might be rude of me, but I have to ask: Do you sing tenor in the local church choir? You just have that look, with the ears and all. |

None necessary, Duc. I don't usually engage in flaming, it was kind of fun to see if I was still sharp. I gotta ask... you're not running that carbon wheel and brake system on the street, are you? I thought carbon brakes didn't hold enough heat to be effective in light (read: non-race) use. |

I thought carbon brakes didn't hold enough heat to be effective in light (read: non-race) use. uhh-ohh...nobody told me that.I was trying to go with the idea of "less unsprung weight" and the ceramic disks i thought complemented that idea...Or so i was told...Do i have a problem? How could i expect them to perform streetwise? Not much of a streetbike...it don't seem to run under 4500 rpm. |

According to http://www.ferodobraketech.com/techtalk_article.ph p?id=13 it looks like my info is regarding carbon/carbon disks. Carbon ceramic are street compatible, at least according to the article. |

permit a digression into materials geekishness: Carbon-carbon disks work better HOT. Note the racing rotors are PREVENTED from cooling by covers. Ceramic (Starfire(R) primarily) are better suited for wet and cold applications. Personally, unless you just have too much spare money, I'd put the bucks into a couple more track days and keep the iron rotors. Carbon-Carbon is HUGELY different than carbon (with epoxy or other resin) - like in bodywork. |

oops - should have said that Ceramic rotors like Starfire (R) work better than the Carbon-Carbon rotors when cold or wet. Carbon-Carbon only work well when hot/dry. (couldn't edit post) |
