Thing mine going bad. clunking lately cranking, yesterday spun freely & motor turn. Put gear moved, retried started. get alternator hub oem puller? 's difference starter sprag & starter friction clutch? motor need rotation replacement? Think mine is going bad has been clunking when cranking lately, yesterday starter spun freely & motor didn't turn over, Put put in gear moved bike a bit, retried bike started. Do you need an oem alternator rotor puller or is there an alternative one. What's the difference between starter sprag & starter friction clutch. Does motor need rotation for replacement. Just installed new starter last weekend & starter spinning freely only with new starter, don't know if coincidence. Any tips or tricks much appreciated.
