It has been eons since I last worked on an 1125, but was asked to do an engine swap. What are we looking at timewise? |

8-12 hours at most? Takes maybe 4 to pull the frame off if you're loafing along like I do. Same to put it back on. 4 more hours for beer and various sundries if required. |

Sounds about right. Only real problem I had was separating the cooling system from the motor. I used all the original hoses. Getting the swingarm lined up with the motor to insert the pivot pin in was interesting. |

I pulled the frame of my CR on many occasions. Normal time for me, 8 hours start to finish. So, add time for beers, and you're at 12 hours. Or three days, depending on how much alcohol was consumed by my liver trying to start it... don't forget to hook up the battery when you're done... lol |
