Has any one ran into this issue?
The person that did the valve job thinks it is the injector. I think the spark plug is firing late.
The front header gets a light orange glow after the o2 sensor.
Can not download picture they say to big on pixels.

All...that have not had their fuel programming remapped have that problem. It's not damaging, but it's also not...the best thing for a good running engine.
ALL Buell engines have their fuel maps set to "hyper lean". While other brand bikes/engines are lean to keep the government happy, It seems that the Buell guys went overboard on the lean side with the fuel mapping.

I also run the Barker muffler (loud isn't it ?), but the fuel and ignition timing mapping is my own.
Back when I bought my CR, there was a guy that offered a computer "hack" that allowed the buyer to do his/her own tuning. There was a little more to it than that, but essentially...

Anyway, after a lot...of experimenting, and, I finally found what the engine seemed to like. While the front header was no longer bright red at night, it still seemed a little hotter than the rear.

The power was up, the mileage was up, the water temperature was way...down, I was happy. Still that way today.
