Could be something as simple as a vacuum leak. Got enough tools and confidence to take a look under the airbox yourself?

That happened to me after the 2008 1125R I purchased 3 years ago.
Put a new battery in it got the same codes. The IAC solenoid was bad. The dead battery hid the code on purchase.
