Has anyone had any dealings with this place yet? So, when you go to www.buelltooth.com it re-directs you to Revision Moto. Reason why im asking is because they will only send 1 map. They sent me the wrong one and now refuse to send me another one. They advertise that they have free maps and offer any that you need for the public to use but refuse to send if you dont purchase anything from them, so i bought a new BUELLTOOTH DONGLE and they will only send one at that...its not a big deal but, its just not advertised that NO MATTER WHAT, they will only send you one (per-lifetime) and im very grateful to have received what i did but, im also a little pissed about it too. Im just curious if anyone has had the similar problem. |

Ha, a web site is supposed to be 100% done...properly. In the "Tutorials" section - - Preform TPS Reset Should be - Perform TPS Reset Really, can't even get their website done correctly. Look quickly...before they change it..! Mike |

Mike, yeah, i noticed that right off the batt! You should read the emails i have from them. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Lmao to beat it all the Buelltooth dongle i got was poorly made. Looks like it was slapped together with hot glue and the case had been poorly 3D printed. But, hey...what did i expect. Smh...gotta love online shopping! |

I'll never understand getting stuff for free and then bitching about it. |

Shoggin, There whould have been no problem if i would have been sent the right one. Hell, i would have paid for it. But, i bought something i didnt even need just to get the tune and then, they gave me the wrong one. So, yeah, i have a good reason to be a little pissed. But, lets be honest...NOTHING IS FREE. Thanks for your input though. |

Which tune do you need? Someone here may well be able to help you out. |

How is the tune you got, "wrong"? Wrong firmware? Won't load? Or are you trying to fix some issue with your bike? |

Shoggin, I requested a 2into1into2 exhaust tune and they sent "race" (stock exhaust-nocat). I built a custom exhaust that is similar to a Keda. But, i had it tuned on a friends dyno in Lexington Ky. All is well now, it runs great with a gain of 9hp. Not much but, not to bad for a couple of $40 cans off Amazon. I think i had maybe $140 total in the build so, im happy. Lol |

I am not sure if this is the same guy running the show, but I purchased from Buelltooth back when they came out with the quickshifter. The person answering the Buelltooth emails was kind of a dick. Unfortunately, when you buy aftermarket stuff like this it's a crapshoot as to what kind of customer service one may expect. YMMV. |

I thought they just gave away the standard tunes but offered a paid service for all the custom stuff, like you needed? Oh well, glad you got it sorted. A 9hp gain is quite a bit for a homemade muffler! Right up there with the big guys. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0475/8121/files/ Buell_1125R_Independent_Exhaust_Shootout_Report.pd f |

Shoggin Man, their customer service was awful! I didnt even need the Buelltooth that i bought. I did that just so they would send a tune for me to work with. Sad thing is, i already had "race" no-cat...They told me they didnt "share" with non-paying customers. Lol and then they send me the wrong one and refused to correct it. You should see the emails. I couldnt believe the gain on the cans i made! Lol im kinda proud but, it was alot of my friends doing with the dyno and tuning. I will say that it does run a little hotter than usual though. Used to stay 175-185 while riding but now runs in 190-200. Ive not had to much "city" ridding yet so im curious and a little worried that im gonna overheat. We will see.... Im trying to upload a pic of dyno chart and exhaust but, for some reason it keeps giving me an error. Not sure whats going on. |

I believe you will find that the 2-1-2 tune is mine which I shared with them, I did it for my GPR exhaust, If you want a copy just send me an email address and I will let you have one. |

Strimble, Wow! Man, that is very kind of you!! I will pm you my email. I love this bike because of how unique it is...i only wish parts were of availability more! I hardly ride it because of that. I just now rolled over 5000 miles. I got it from a collection that someone was selling through a "estate sale", and man...i stole the thing too. Lol thanks again!! |

lol yea +1 more on the BuellTooth guy. I bought one which has come in handy resetting the codes and stuff. Why isn't there that much chatter about Buelltooth on this forum? The way it's advertised on the website it seems like the best thing ever, free maps that are the same as EBR tunes? Is it an ethical thing that people don't share the software? And also, is there really that much of a difference between maps for different exhausts? Doesn't the bike compensate quite a bit, so as long as they're in the ballpark the bike would take it from there? Not really understanding that. |

Ethical? For someone to offer something for free? LOL anyway... IMO, a Buell Race map is more than adequate for 99% of Buells with any aftermarket pipe/K&N because yes, closed loop (AFB and EGO) allow plenty of adjustment. Any other engine mods would require WO and part throttle tuning. It seems obvious but 'tune' is not something that fixes your bike. Too many people assume 'runs bad, needs tune'. Your bike needs to run well, in order to be fine tuned to run better. |

Ridetillidie1983 No worries, happens all the time, glad to be of help. The Buelltooth is a bluetooth wireless interface, you can do the same thing with a cable, the software needed such as Tunerpro and Ecmspy are available for free, as well as logging the AFVs to fine tune the maps the software allows many other changes, I have enabled a quick shifter, disabled the rev rise on clutch out and changed the startup enrichener settings and loads of other things. One point on the maps for different exhausts is they not only change the AFVs they also have different timing settings and you need a dyno to know what they need to be which Buell did for those maps. The next thing I will do is wideband tune the bike as the closed loop cannot check open loop AFVs. |
