So, has anyone had to deal with a broken bleeder on the cluch cover? Any clue to the best way to remove? I tried easy-outs and it a no-go! I may be spending 400 for cover and actuator from SPHD.....smh! Grrr | ||

Tribalreaper Yup, that was the first thing i tried. (guess the previous owner had never heard ot anti-seize Lol) Then it was on to easy-out. Its just stripping its self out. Smh...im almost out of space to the point of no return. I have heard that drilling to rethread wasnt an option because the bleeder has to seat properly. Not sure how true that is but, i may try just to see when all options have been exhausted. Thanks for the info | ||

I can't find a link of my favorite small screw extractor. It has the LH drill with a tapered threaded portion up the shaft. Get so deep and the extractor portion takes over. Older Craftsman set. Zacks Thanks for the info! The speed-out pro is what i used. They are AWESOME, but, this thing is just completley done for. Im just gonna go ahead and order the upgraded cover from SPHD so i can use the Obrian slave unit. Ive heard good things about them in turms of "easy pull". Looks to be the only thing the previous owner didnt upgrade. Thanks everyone for all the info! Ride safe and fast!!  |
