So how different are the ecm’s on the Buell versus the EBR? I am curious if I can retrofit the 1190 dash onto the 1125. Having the gas gauge would be nice. Probably would not be worth doing except my IC started to rot away from being out in the sun. I disassembled it and cleaned it up, repainted the bottom of the needle, and did a pretty decent job blacking out the backside of the dash. The orange backlight is starting to go and there’s a part of the circuit board that appears to have absorbed some water. |

It wouldn't be impossible, the ECM's speak the same language, but it won't be "fun". You'd be better off with a Trail Tech, MotoGadget, or Race Pak. Whatever your budget allows. FYI, EBR's don't have a gas gauge either. |

Going to take a lot more than just matching wire function with pin on dash connector.
The updated EBR firmware does has shift light which is great. |

I would much prefer the analog tach. |

Wow that is excellent, Thank you Terry! I don’t know if I will actually try it or not. I was wondering if, other than the fuel float sensor, any of the sensors are different. |

It's not about the sensors, look at the diagram. No sensor inputs. The ECM talks to the dash on a CAN bus. Heck, who knows? Try it and see! Erik is pretty good at leaving things that work well enough alone. |
