Back in 2014, there was this thread about using the Brembo P32G caliper on our 1125s. The OP found a vendor on Ebay selling them for $50 or so. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/752432.html?1415662848 Of course I didn't buy one at the time, and now the P32G is going for $150ish on Ebay, so far less cost-effective. Are there any other good alternative rear caliper options? What bikes use the P32G caliper--maybe I can find a good replacement searching by bike model instead of Brembo part number? |

Lot of "fake" Brembo calipers out in the world. Consider the source on "too cheap" parts. |

If you do not mind the bleed nipple being in the wrong location you can use other versions of the caliper and just remove it from the swingarm if you ever need to bleed it. That is what I did. |

Stimbrell, what are the "other versions" of the caliper? I'm assuming you mean take-off calipers from other bikes, but which bikes? |

Gggggary, a bunch of BWB people bought the $50 Brembo calipers back in 2014 and nobody ever complained about them being subpar or knockoffs. My guess is that the Ebay vendor just bought up a bunch of stock (I think they had 50+ calipers for sale), got a big discount on them, and passed along the savings. |

Just checked my ebay account but it does not go back to when I bought it but have been looking on line and it looks like the caliper fitted to the Ducati 748, 916, 996 & 998s. Line and bleed are at the bottom when fitted but as I said still works. |

I have one of the Brembo calipers and I don't believe it's a knockoff. It's been working fine for 5'ish years without service, which I definitely couldn't say about the stock caliper. My stock caliper was dragging and since it is non-servicable, the Brembo was just what was needed. The cheap price was a bonus for sure. |

Don't hate GGGGGGregory. Just because you have to pay $150 for something some paid 1/3 of the price. IIRC, there were others selling the same thing in the same general price range, so there goes your theory. Plus the fact that there has been 5 years of times lapse. Many thing other than being fake could explain the 300% price increase. |

Here is mine as well. I had to put washers to "center" the caliper.

I bought a used caliper off a 99 Ducati 900SS for $50. I had to use a small spacer to center the caliper as well. But now I need to get a new rear master cylinder. I am on my second OEM rear master cylinder. |

Found this on ebay. It looks like it would work. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-Piston-Rear-Brake-Calip er-BANDIT-ZR-HAYABUSA-CBR-GSXR/320634103324?hash=i tem4aa748261c:g:v3wAAOxy43FRaDgL |

Here's one I found priced in the middle with the fittings up top for easier bleeding and you don't have the line dangling below the swing-arm. I eyeballed my brake line and it should reach no problem and should be able to tie back the line in it's original place. I managed to get my stock caliper working again but think I'm going to grab one of these and store for future back up... https://www.oppracing.com/product_display/30857-br embo-oe-rear-brake-caliper-p32f-black-w-07bb0110-r ight/ |
