Here is a direct replacement for the 1125R TPS sensor. After taking one apart, with 45,000 miles on it, and giving it a good inspection, I would have replaced it. So if you find yourself having to reset your TPS sensor, often, here is a resource for a replacement. https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-throttle-posi tion-sensor-hella-13637840383 |

Excellent information, thank you. Did you have to pull the throttle bodies to replace the TPS? |

Yes, you have to remove the TB. You might be able to just disconnect it from the intake manifold and turn it sideways and get access to the TPS, without removing the throttle cables. Don't forget to cover or put a rag in the intake manifolds. I removed it completely because I was putting a NOS TB on. If you are replacing just the TPS, there is some alignment of the sensor that needs to be done, and checking the TPS values on the IC. (Message edited by Willmrx on May 07, 2019) |

Thanks for the info, I was thinking of buying the NOS TB but the postage is $71 and I would be hammered on import charges. I have a valve check coming up so will do the tps then. |
