My 08 1125 R has set idle for 4 years. I did not drain the fuel 4 years ago and when I went to try to start the engine turns but will not start. Checked the fuel line and it is dry. I did put in new fuel. Electric connections are fine. I think the fuel pump is clogged. Can they be repaired or would I need to replace it. The bike only has 3000 miles on it. I owned it since new. I know it is a lot of work to remove the pump. Any advice? It is for sale for a reasonable offer. | ||

I’ve taken them apart and made a good one out of two with different problems in the past, so yes, if you can get the parts, you can fix them, or potentially clean them out. What do you consider a reasonable price? Where is Orange Park? Jacksonville area? I’m a little north of WPB. | ||

If I sold would ask $3500.00 I have many extras. Extra set of the factory Mag wheels, Chain conv., race exhaust, ECM, Shock, front susp. internals, top clamp with clip ons, Factory race body work and much more. All Buell Race parts. Also have all original stock parts. Also have 03 XB9r that is a track only with many extras.
