I’m considering changing the color of some of the plastics on my CR which has been converted to R front fairing and side fairings... I’ve seen a few that have had the radiator pods changed, and looked good. Can any of you post pics of what you have done? I promise I won’t duplicate anyone’s efforts. |

I am considering doing the conversion at some point. I’d like to see your bike and any other photos as well! Sorry I cant add to the conversation. |

Here's a few of my CR - - started off black and then played with a few color combinations. First started with the white flyscreen for greater visibility over the stock black.
Then, added the red during the EBR/Hero AMA era (bikes were red/black/white). This is how the bike currently sits. . .
Also have a pic somewhere with the white air box cover, flyscreen, and pods, but that was my least favorite combo - - too much like an "Oreo". Rims are from the Uly XT, powder-coated silver. Not much love from "One-Color Purists", but I like it. . . Ride Safe, Paul (Message edited by PNW ULYs on August 09, 2018) |

As long as you’re happy, that’s what matters. Another nice one. Thanks for posting it. (Yes, I was wondering about the wheels.) |

Nice! Is that a Uly sub-frame and seat on it? |

^ ^ ^ Like that one, Marc! Not a Uly seat unless heavily modified. . . Here's the "Oreo"version, with the stock rims. Also went a different route - - airbox decals on the radiator pods and (2010) pod decals on the airbox. Flyscreen decal also not in OEM location (visible in earlier pics).

Thanks. It’s an SS subframe. |

Here's my go at it. It no longer has Buell stickers on airbox cover. Saddlebags are gone too. I like being low profile. It's fun to see guys look at it for awhile then ask what it is.
