All,

Just wanted to do a shout out to all you amazing pioneer's of the 1125R in depicting the steps to replace the stock VR with the SH847 from roadstercycle in the stock location! It took me about 3 hours start to finish.

I did take pictures, but I'm not sure they are that different from how you guys did it.

Anyway, I just wanted say a big thanks...

Awesome. Let us know how it fairs after a long summer ride.

I've had mine in for over a year in the stock location. Summer heat hasn't been an issue and I'm in Vegas with over 110+ temps. Should have no problem

Jmoreno88, have you additionally changed out your Stator and also replaced your rotor with a modified rotor?

I've been riding the 1125R almost daily since changing out the VR and it maintains 14.2 - 14.5. At a stop light with the turn signals on, it maintains 13.8.

I did purchase the new Rick's stator and all the tools, etc to swap out the rotor, but am hoping to hold off on buying the EBR rotor and doing the rotor swap/stator swap until the end of my riding season.

I changed the rotor but I kept the original stator in as it wasn't damaged yet. I just did it as a preventative before it could go bad. Haven't had any issues
