Does anyone know if, during an oil change, you add a bit too much oil, will the excess drip out from the little hole more commonly associated with the weeping clutch issue? |

If only it were that easy. I've had a few experiences with overfilling oil (thanks to dealers being unfamiliar with the Helicon), and the excess oil always ended up coming out the breather (in the air box) and dumping on the engine. Always 'fun' to clean up. I guess it depends how much 'a bit too much' is... |

Well it's in storage now so I think I'll leave it until the spring to see how bad it might look in the air box. Thanks. |

Really more likely to be the clutch fluid weep issue, which would be a good thing to fix before next spring. |

Your bike is in storage? It will not weep from the air-box breather unless the engine is running. It wont weep if it's just sitting there. |

Stimbrell, I think you are correct. Had a long chat with my mechanic about it and it looks like I'm going to have to deal with the 3rd clutch weep.... Time for Oberon. Thanks for the input ppl. |
