I'm stuck  My 1125CR was knocked over in a parking lot, and now won't start. I hit the key and that noise I always thought was the fuel pump charging is not there anymore. I cycled the key a million times with no effect. I disconnected the battery and when hooked back up, no change. So any clues you might have are much appreciated. | ||

Check the fuses and if those are OK, try swapping the relays around. Does the headlight come on with key on Ignition? If not, the headlight fuse is on the same circuit as the start relay and if that fuse goes out, it won't crank. | ||

Which side did it fall on, and did it do any damage? The noise you mention being missing, you mean the high pitched whirring noise when you turn the key on? That indeed is the fuel pump. Are you getting any error messages on the dashboard? I assume that you are pressing the starter button and nothing is happening, not even any clicks? | ||

interesting I found the OPs post on the Facebook/ BWB group it looked like he resolved it with the bank angle sensor reset? this reset info was posted.. not 100% sure if it resolved the issue. but maybe? "There is a routine for resetting the bank angle or tip over sesnor. On a Harley you need to turn everything off. Turn key off. Set handle bar switch to off on some much have kickstand down. Next turn key on THEN turn handle bar switch to run. Leave kick stand down . Now try to start it." (stolen from FB post) | ||

On Buells all you need to do to reset the BAS is simply turn the key off, I can confirm from dropping my CR in the past. If the bike was off it shouldn't of even triggered the BAS to need a reset assuming it was turned back on after picking up. Most Buells don't have kickstand switches so that functionality is not factored in. Either way I'm glad he is up and running. | ||

Froggy is correct as usual. When I went down on the ‘08 R, the battery was stone dead when I got back to it. I had bought a new battery the day I wrecked it, but put it on a trickle charger rather than install it, so that was ready to install. Other than that, and splice the ground wire for the Power Commander V, oh yeah, had to put some gas in it too, but it fired up after a couple of half-assed attempts. To my knowledge, international bikes have sidestand switches. Domestic bikes don’t | ||
