Hi everyone. I just bought a 2009 Buell 1125CR and I was thinking to buy a Dynojet kit. I was wandering if it will be a good idea or I better keep it original? Thanks for any good advise. | ||

Don't bother with a piggy back unit like that. You can get better results with a Race ECM, and you don't risk causing running issues. http://idspd.com/xcart/products-buell/1125cr They are plug and play. IDS is the OEM that makes the stock ECM. Also, the Race ECM changes more than just the fueling, so you get other quality of life improvements like bypassing the intake solenoid, easier starts, better idle and fan management. A Race ECM is pretty much the only "must have" mod for any fuel injected Buell as it takes care of lower speed driveability. | ||

I agree with Froggy.I have more money in my bike than I paid for it but the race ecm is far and away the best money spent as long as you don't fall over and at low speeds it may prevent that.Even if you keep the stock exhaust denoid it and buy a race ECM IMHO. | ||

A Race ECM, does it require also to change the Exhaust system and air filter? | ||

No it does not you can get one tuned for a stock exhaust I have one on my stock CR couldn't believe the difference the way it runs compared compared to the stock one | ||

I'm running the Race ECM for Stock Exhaust on several bikes (one XB, one 1125, and one 1190). Well worth the coin. | ||

Yes the bike run's smother at low speed's no herkey jerky as I call it the bike just run's so much better. It's hard for me to explain as I have had the race ECM on my CR since they came out. | ||

I have seen you just plug it and ready to go, is it correct or you still need some set up? | ||

No you just unplug your stock ECM and install the race ECM reset the TPS start her up let it idle for 10 mins I think and giver | ||

Ok I see, I will have someone to do it for me, this type of stuff is not my cup of tea. Why is it specified that only for off road? | ||

Because it does away with all the emissions characteristics that is mandated for "on road vehicles" | ||

Ok I understand, but I live in a country where "everything" is possible  I also own a 1990 Kawasaki GPX 750R transformed in a street fighter type. Every second year I need to do here the inspection called technical control. With a couple of 10 bucks it just went thru! I have been searching for a video showing how to reset the TPS but I couldn't find any clear video about it using the Throttle. Technically what is the difference between an Dynojet kit and the Stock cat ECM on IDS website? | ||

TPS procedure...it's easy...I don't think you'll find any video on it. see link below http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/290 431/566368.html?1305173638 The Dyno Jet kit is a "patch" on the stock ECM...it requires additional tuning (on a dyno) to get it to perform better than the "stock ECM" The "Race" ECM from idspd...is a total re-write of the "code" to run the engine...it doesn't require any "tuning" on a dyno....plus it's a easy "Plug n Play" option...it is the best "value" for an aftermarket "tune" to make your bike run smooth and fast. (for $50 plus shipping ...send them your stock ECM and they can rewrite the code to give you the latest "race software" to work with your bike) Good Luck! (Sok szerencset kivanok) | ||

Nuts4mc köszönöm szépen! I'm a Belgian citizen but I live in Budapest since 18 years. Thanks for the link, I appreciate it. Dynojet here in Budapest only one place can do it but they charge $400 for the kit, and another $200 to set it up. |
