New to me, 7,400 miles with some nice aftermarket add-ons. Cleaning her up and proud to begin participating in the forum. Former RC51 owner and pumped to have this sitting in the garage next to the Deuce. The smell of rubber, gas, oil and exhaust never gets old!

WELCOME! This website saved my life a couple of years ago. It is a great resource for upgrades, repairs, and extreme modifications. I hope you enjoy your 1125R as much as the rest of us. Easiest bike to ride hard and fast with little worries. |

Fireboltwillie - the bike is currently running well. But, I'll need new tires soon and service will come up. Who do you recommend, in the Denver area? |

Welcome to the forums Lowguy!! My 1125r is fairly new for me as well but I have had a few Buell's. How would you compare the rc51 to the 1125r? Those were the two bikes I was looking for and couldnt find a low mileage rc51 in the same price range as the 1125r. |

Thanks, it's been about 10 years since I sold the RC and I haven't had much of a chance to get the 1125R out yet. Right off the bat, this bike just feels surlier, not at all comfortable in traffic or city driving. Feels like I'm strapped to a bull and we are both waiting for that gate to pull. The RC was bone stock and just felt much milder. |

Odd you say that. I just picked up a 1125r myself and feel completely opposite. Coming from a M2 for 7 yrs now, I find the 1125r refined and smooth. |

I'll get it out of the city soon, should be a great time to effectively reflect on the differences. |

Sorry I'm late to the welcome... I'm in Longmont, 1125R, 1190RS, an 09 Uly and a 91 Buell Westwind - RS1200. I have a machine shop off Hwy119, 1840 Skyway Unit E. Headstrong Machining, I share a shop with HO Motorsports. Stop by if you're up north, I'm there practically every day. Headed in right now. Zack |
