The slave was leaking out of the weep hole, bike has 15K on it. The kit from EBR seemed real good, all the parts were there and they shipped it the day after I ordered it. Install was straight forward. I didn't loose any engine oil. I did notice that someone before me had tried to use silicon just behind the plastic cover to stop the leaking. The DOT 4 had pretty much turned the silicon into mush, there was a ton of shit inside the cover. Took me about an hour and a half, but I am real meticulous and cleaned everything. No leaks anymore and the clutch has a lot less of a mushy feel. 2 finger clutch shifts are perfect. All in all, pretty happy with this. I had considered the Oberon unit, but I would rather buy US made parts and the EBR was almost half the price. |

Also used the EBR kit. Had pretty much the same experience: straightforward job, no mess, improved clutch feel. |

As much as the EBR kit helped my clutch, you guys wouldn't believe what the Brembo RCS lever does........I couldn't even tell if I had it bled and it was actually engaging the clutch it was so light! |

Clutch weep? The reservoir was empty after sitting for a week. I am not aware that any fluid has been added since 2008 when new (?). I will fill it with a syringe and no bubbles in the fluid going into the reservoir. I will see if that is a good fix for an around the block set of tests. I got a lot of "404 Page Not Found" for the old EBR sites from forum. Is there a specific location on this forum for the many clutch weep fixes, tools and purging air? This forum's info is a great addition to the 1125R service manual. Good clutch fix video posted by Jc1125r Aug 24, 2016... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCEetGIc9ks Is the attached picture the EBR kit what I would need, if the clutch is weeping or is there another part/kit about which you are speaking? http://www.erikbuellracing.net/store/parts-accessories/clutch/ebr-clutch-actuator-cylinder-kit.html Does the leaked DOT4 fluid get into the transmission/engine oil and possibly dilute the lubrication? Where did you purchase a Brembo RCS lever? Thanks

There is a weep hole in the puck on the clutch cover; it's probably wet and discolored from the leaky actuator. Yes, that's the kit. It's a pretty easy job, be careful of the diaphragm when you remove the clutch cover. |

There seemed to be a question a year or so ago, that the o-rings in the kit were not the correct thickness (something such as that). I just want to be prepared when I get the box from EBR. It should be in my hands tomorrow. Were any OEM or EBR kits ever found to have a problem? Seems that someone suggested getting different o-rings from a shop that sells seals. |
