Recently purchased a 2008 1125r which has a Drummer exhaust with a db killer. I like the exhaust with and without the db killer in it. The bike has a shade over 20k on it, and the other day the drive belt failed. I believe it was original belt. To complete the replacement belt install, I want to get the back tire off the ground, but I am not sure how to accomplish this with a Drummer exhaust. I don't want to mash the can. Should I take the Drummer off and jack it up that way? Any ideas? I searched the board for a while and could not come up with anything, so I will apologize now if this is a duplicate question.

You can drive over a Drummer with a dumptruck and not dent it.
Check with Kevin, I say jack away.

You don't need to take the wheel off to do a belt change, I've done swaps on the side of the road before. One of the main steps is loosening the axle almost all the way, it has a taper on it to give you more slack.

The XB Drummer can be used to jack the bike up as it is made from the stock muffler, but I can't vouch for the 1125 version being strong enough.

What Froggy said... just be careful to NOT loosen all the way. Leave a few threads in the threaded side and it will loosen the belt enough so you can work the belt onto the pulleys.

You don't jack the bike, you hang the bike. Use a front wheel stand and raise the back end on a rope. The back end is actually very light.
