What is the best option for a new front rotor, for hard street riding, and track days. EBR, EBC, Galfer, or Braking? |

For the street they are pretty much all the same other than appearance and price. I've ran them all on various bikes over the years, they are all good. I believe the rotor that is stock on the 1190RX/SX holds up the best to riding hard based on what I've seen posted, if you are doing track days I'd lean to that one. |

All of the wave rotors have less metal and although they are designed for maximum cooling, more metal is better and that is why the stock 1190 rotor is best. |

Im not a track guy but ive had good luck so far with the EBC MD735RS rotor i installed 2 years ago on my 1125R. Combined with the EBC HH rated pads and EBR upgraded hardware kit it seems like a bulletproof combination. |

I have warped atleast 4 braking rotors, never a stock one. I actually had the pads catch on fire one time with a braking rotor. Not recommended. OEM or EBR (Message edited by deanh8 on September 09, 2016) |

Are the EBR disks still available then? They are not listed on the ebr website anymore. also the mounting bolts and shims kit is still out of stock. |

Yes they are, part# H0201.1B6 $370.00 ish. I just purchased mounting hardware from them about two weeks ago, even though their web page said it was out of stock. They need to put the rotor info in the store section on their web page, it is in the chassis parts book section, page 35. |

Ended up buying the EBC rotor (because of price) and I am very happy with the EBC pads on a EBC rotor, with the new EBR rotor mounting hardware. It stops way more progressively. I got a little over 200 miles on the new set up. |
