It all most seems that my bike stalls more often, with the California summer blend of fuel. Has anyone else noticed a change in the bike performance, using the summer blended fuel? |

a) run hi-test (duh) b) try some chevron fuel inj cleaner (costco) c) I have the best "experience" with Shell brand of hi-test gasoline d) might want to check the throttle butterflys for build up of gunk e) do a google search (up a the top of this page) about IAC cleaning HTH |

The bike is well maintained. I put a lot of miles on my bike, and ride it year round. I use premium fuel and use chevron injection cleaner. I have three friends that have 1125r and the two of us that ride the most notice that is seems to, what I call is flame out at intersections a little more often. All four of us get flame outs from time to time. |

I don't think this issue is the fuel. I suspect it is fuel temperature due to the engine heating the fuel tank/frame. |

Steve makes a good point as I usually judge the "health" of my charging system as to how the bike re-starts after stopping for fuel...my rice burner riding buddies don't seem to have that issue, but learned to have patience when I ride with them.... on another WASG-and maybe only when you stop at a light and need to continue on (and she stalls)... how is the clutch?...is the fluid level in the hydraulic system for the clutch up to proper level? have you flushed the system?...brake fluid is Hydroscopic (it absorbs water)...the water can cause corrosion in the hydraulic parts and make their actions less efficient. |
