It says in the manual you have to rotate the motor to get to the connector to replace the CKP sensor. Has anyone replaced one? Is there a workaround like there is for the plugs? Any info is greatly appreciated . |

Yes I have. I had to rotate the engine. The problem is the size of the connector is to big to snake through the wire harness cover. You could cut the old one out and reroute the new one so you do not have to use the wire harness cover. You can also connect the new one and leave the old one in place to check to see if it truly is the CKP sensor. Which I should have done, because the old one was good! Well it did gave me something to do for a while. (Message edited by willmrx on June 04, 2016) |
