I'm finally ready to upgrade the stock exhaust on my 2009 1125r but the only thing I can find is the Aluminum Barkers Slip On. Does anybody know if there are other options available? If so, where can I purchase them? Also, if I were to upgrade to a new exhaust, would I need to purchase an EBR ECM? Can't seem to find where I can purchase that either? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

I would consider parting with my Barker's and matching EBR ECM. Both were purchased in 2010 and still in good shape. Let me know if you're interested. My 1125r is a 2008, but I think the ECMs are the same as the 2009. I believe EBR can answer that if you call them. |

I have an HMF with an EBR ECM paired to the HMF exhaust and to my 2009 1125CR. I love it and couldn't ask for anything better unless I was riding a 1190RX! EBR has them both on sale too... |

I've used the HMF ecu with other exhausts and it works great with about anything I think. It's the ecu they used when testing the original exhaust performance and sound clip shootout. There is a place in Wisconsin that made the ecu's for Buell. Can't remember the name. They still sell them. Someone will chime in on that I'm sure. I'd seach for it but my phone is out if 4g lte data and is now on 156kbps so I can't do much online. Oddly I can navigate this forum very well on 156k. I'm glad it's antiquated. I really recommend a Race ECM regardless of what exhaust you use, including the quiet stock one. The Race ECM improves a bunch of things including lower RPM manners, bypasses some EPA stuff, and in general makes the bike easier and more pleasant to ride. It is how the bike would run from the factory if legally it could |

I'll also point out that you can gut the last chamber of the OEM exhaust and run a race ecu. I used the HMF ecu when I did this. I had very good results. I also cut the two turnouts off and welded on the tip off of a Corvette muffler. It had an awesome sound and the performance increase was amazing. I liked keeping the stock look as alot of aftermarket exhaust leave the bike with a dirt bike appearance. There's a few write UPS on here about doing it but you have to have some reasonable fabrication skills. |
