I had really good luck with a #1 Philips, just got the crank to where I needed it, it slid right in and stayed there...I know it's not the most orthodox, but it worked great |

I just wanted to make sure you got it back. I don't trust the post office. I had a coworker that owed me a favor so his buddy made one for me as well. |

unfortunately I only have my one set of tools to loan out and I'm not doing it for a profit, but as a favor to other buell riders in our community. https://squareup.com/market/dean-adams-design/buel l-ebr-cam-locking-tool http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/artikel.asp? guid=yxhfsc&aid=4129&cid=0&s=&aname=Buell_1125_RCR _TM_Crank_TDC_locking_tool_ these guys are forum sponsors and are great resources for our community, making these unique tools available for purchase. |

Matthew - I just want to say thanks for the community for what you've been doing. Newbs don't understand yet how helpful this group is. THE REASON i'm a Buell fanatic, the community AND Erik's availability to said community. Just a "pat on the back". Z |

Because this has happened 3times now, I'll ask; Am I scaring people away by asking for a security deposit on my tools ? Or am I missing something? |

I'll answer. Nope, I wouldn't loan out my tools without a deposit that's high enough to cover the cost of replacement. The thing is with these tools, unless someone is actively producing them, they're gone. I make small runs of parts, but it's not like these are easily available for a good price. I don't make much of a profit on the tools I do make. |

In need of whatever tools I would use to remove the rotor. Locking tools, 32mm deep socket, different locktite's. Are there any other tools needed? Thanks so much for providing the tools here! |

Hey Nilla, I need to do the sprag on my CR. I know I need the crank lock tool for sure - do you know if I need the cam lock tool as well? In any case, I can put the deposit down for both. Parts were ordered from New Castle today so they should hopefully be here in a week or two if everything goes right. |

You do not need the cam lock tool for the sprang clutch removal, only the crank locking tool. |
