I've got my EBR clutch slave cylinder out on my work bench. The large o-rings have deteriorated. Also, the aluminum piston has corroded. The pic shows it about as clean as I can get it after hitting it with solvents, scotch-brite and finally some super fine emery cloth. I think it is now barely serviceable but about as good as I can get it. In any case I need to replace the o-rings. There are three sizes. The two large ones are the same. The out board small ones are square cross section and the inside is round cross section. Anyone know the sizes or have a recommendation on where to get them? Thanks.

Replacing o-rings are only a temporary fix. Thanks Terry, perhaps I was unclear. I have already replaced the weeping OEM clutch slave cylinder with the EBR manufactured replacement upgrade. It is this EBR clutch slave cylinder for which I now need replacement o-rings. Does anyone know the o-ring sizes? Thanks, Paul. |

They are metric. The large ones are 45mmx2mm or part # 3771-45X2-N. Regular BUNA material is not recommended for brake fluid, EPDM is best. But as in my previous post you can easily buy the Buell/HD oring kit. CF0007.1AMA |

Just to make it clear for anyone using this thread as a reference, the part numbers and sizes supplied above are for #8 in the attached image. I am looking for #16 and #17 for the EBR clutch slave piston.

Ok so I finally found the EBR engine parts diagram I've been looking for. http://www.af1racing.com/store/ProdImages/st3/1190 RS2012ENG.pdf They are EBR part #s CF0001.1B6 and CF0002.1B6. The larger oring is 17x3mm but the small one does not have a size listed. This is what it says oring, oil strainer. I'll do some more digging to try and locate the size. |

The oil strainer under the motor does have an o-ring, sure you are looking at the right o-ring? |

That corrosion is worrying to me. It signifies water in the fluid. Please completely purge all the old fluid out and replace with fresh, unexposed to air, fluid. |

Terry, I'm sorry if I keep confusing this. The o-rings I'm after are for the aftermarket EBR manufactured clutch slave cylinder upgrade kit they sold for the 1125, not the OEM one for the 1190. There is a possibility that EBR used the same slave cylinder in the 1190 that they sold as the upgrade for the 1125 but I can't confirm this. From page 38 in the 1190 parts diagram .pdf you linked above, it appears that this is not the case. |

Zack - If you cross reference the numbers from the pdf I posted with AF1 or LAPs parts list they both list CF0001.1B6 as the same. |
