No, the engine is designed by Sutec to run 10W-40 HD didn't have 10W-40 and just throw the wrong oil in the bike, we have seen many failures because of that. when you switch to 10W-40 you will fee a much better shifting too (-: |

That is only so because in Holland the outside temperature rarely hits 70°F/21°C. We need 20W oil here in the states, especially southern states that have 3 months above 90°F/32°C. Buell and EBR only recommends 10w40 for temps below 40°F/4°C. (Message edited by terrys1980 on December 11, 2015) |
