I'm having trouble getting a EBR ECM for my 08 1125R, EBR website is down or dying, no luck with EBay, I'm keeping my eyes open on here but no luck yet. Where can I get one? Thanks for any input. |

Sure I want it. Are you are giving it away? Or are you trying to sell it and if so, how much are you asking? Let's be clear. (Message edited by fresnobuell on October 08, 2015) |

If you are prepared to send your Stock 1125R ECM in for the flash/ tuning... do you send it to Twin Motors? or to IDS? |

IDS would be my pick. They are the ones that made the ECM in the first place |

thanks Froggy... guess that makes sense. I know you've said in the past it's a big improvement (The EBR race ECM); seems like i've seen some complain that maybe engine braking was reduced too much with the IDS upgrade? My memory could be faulty tho (Message edited by bubba_ on November 10, 2015) |

IDS very likely uses the same maps that EBR used, which have reduced engine braking. I find it more pleasant to ride, especially when cruising. If you want to slow down just use the brake. That said, they can be programmed to give more or less engine braking, I'm not sure if IDS offers that as an option. |
