Has anyone ever experimented with radial Brembo master cylinders? I switched to a radial brake master cylinder on my RC51 and noticed substantial difference in performance. I just wanted to know if anyone has done so with the 1125R or CR. The clutch on my new to me CR is heavier than I have ever felt on a bike, but it has been sitting in a shed for years. |

Yeah, this has been covered several times - like Nuts said, there should be some threads. I did it a few years back - nice upgrade. |

Thanks. Search function works well. I just see conflicting reports about Ducati Brembo vs New Brembo. I found a good deal on a new Nissin 19mm radial MC that I am going to try though. I bought this 09 1125cr for $2700 with 9k miles and a Keda exhaust. It sat for years and had been low sided in a parking that did minor damage. I plan on upgrading all known issues or possible issues. I love the cult following you guys provide. Thanks for the help! |

Hi, I just have a question if anybody have any experience with those: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221763562808?_trksid=p2055 119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT The price is OK, just don't know what to expect from them. Any improvement from original or even worst? Thank you for your answers. p.s.: I'm not racing |

Believer, don't recomnend going that route. Did it when I was starting to do track days and they didn't last 2 days. I'll probably have both rcs units for sale in 2 weeks off my race bike. |

You did try one of those and they didn't last 2 day? Wav this is really bad quality. But as I said i'm not racing and not going to the track. I don't need the best one. I would love to have rcs, but they are too expensive. You said that you'll sell yours in two weeks? Price? and How many miles done with them? |

Yes i tried a Chinese version of them and they didn't last. After that and the other issues I've had with my brakes, I only use quality braking products now. Doesn't matter to me if street or track, the brakes are a very important part of the bike you don't want to fail at any point. Haven't set prices for anything yet, I'm racing Daytona next weekend with the bike then everything will be listed in my part out thread. |

Kruizen, thank you for your advice. May I ask what went wrong with those chinese master cylinders? What was the issue? Wish you good luck at Daytona, and I'll wait for the price. |

Thanks can't wait to get down there. The adjustment knobs fell off, levers stuck, seals ultimately failed. Major fade after a short use-because of the seals, resivour brackets broke with a slight bump. Basically whatever could break did. I was thinking the same things can't be that bad and for the money why not try them. Also crashed me at one track and after that they came off immediately. |

I highly suggest you don't go the cheap route on your front brake setup. If you have a malfunction, you might die. If you crash and survive, whatever couple hundred bucks you save will be chump change compared to your medical and rehab bills. Not worth it. Same goes for your riding gear. I broke down and bought a nice A-Stars perfed leather jacket after my get off a couple years ago. NOt only does a quality garment offer superior protection, it wil fit you much better than something cheap. Everytime I put on that jacket, it seems to fit better. A quality leather jacket will cost around $500, but it is money well spent in my book. Anyway, that's a little off topic...continue please. |

I was skeptic about those master cylinders, that0s why I asked if anybody have any informations about them. I do give a lot on safety, my helmet is schubert c3 PRO for 480€, leather jacket for about the same price and pants too. I know now that those master cylinder are no safe, so I'm not taking them. really thanks for the answers. Do you know any other good quality beside rcs? |

I have the Accossato. I wish there was less lever play, but it certainly does give more feel than the stock M/C. Also, don't bother with the fancy fluid reservoirs, just get a plain plastic one. I spent alot on an aluminium res from Italy (brand escapes me) but it was a pain to mount and didn't hold much fluid (compounded by the rubber top piece that seems to take way too much volume in the res.) Also, the seal at the cap is tricky. after initial install, the seal wasn't quite right and the fluid would weep from the cap and the fluid got contaminated very quickly. I must have done it right after changing that fluid because now there is no leaking and th fluid looks to be staying clean. I didn't do anything different with the cap AFAIK, all you have to do is screw it on. Strange But on the bright side the res sure looks pretty! |

The Brembo RCS19 had utterly transformed my front brake I did rebuilds on the caliper and stock MC, but the Brembo has totally fixed the system My front brake (with EBC pads, changing to DP) feels almost like a 1098's Brembos |
