What has been the average for shipping these? |

Kruizen - typically $30 to California, more like $40 east of Texasss. More for APO's or to Canadia. That's for one-week shipping. Double that for priority shipping. |

Terry - a couple of notes on what I have done. I reduced the overall length from 21" to 20". It worked fine, and saved a few bucks on shipping cost. For the yoke, the length of the flat bars is 3". I cut a 6" piece, drill both ends, then cut it in half. I use an angle grinder with cut-off wheel, so I lose maybe a bit over 1/16" OAL. The 1" square vertical piece is 8" long. For the rear, I start with a piece of flat bar 9" long. Drill one end to 3/8", the other end 5/8". Find the center of that bar and cut it in half at a 45 degree angle. The tube is just under 3-7/8" long. I think you could use 1" square tubing instead of 1-1/2", but I haven't tried it. If I did, the round tube would need to be shortened a quarter inch or so. (When in doubt, build it stout) |

Thanks for the drawing, very timely. I plan on bumping Loretta to 1190 this winter and a stand will simplify that process.. Z |

First off I wanted to say thanks to Stirz for posting up all the info to build these! Second don't mind my welding, I am a hack...lol. But I finally got around to fabbing up a stand since this winters maintenance is includes rebuilding the forks with new springs and valves for my weight and this will definitely come in handy. I still have to clean up some of my welds and throw a coat of paint on it, but for the most part its done. I ended up with plenty of left over materials so I can probably throw one of these together for anyone who lives close by.
