2009 Buell 1125R for sale. 17.5k miles Excellent shape, very well maintained, no mechanical issues. Brakes are new. Race fairings, race ECM, k&n filter, lithium ion battery, Barkers racing exhaust, upgraded charging system, frame sliders. I have changed the oil every spring before starting it, and again half way through the season. I use mobile 1 4T synthetic high performance oil and K&N filter. This bike has been a great ride for me for several years, has taken me through the tail of the dragon and the smokey mountains many times, has been very reliable, and a blast to ride; I would like to see it sold to someone who can take good care of it, keep it well maintained, and not let it collect dust for years. This bike was meant to be enjoyed and will be a great bike to ride for many many years

I need to move my '07 Dyna before adding any more to the stable, but will be in touch when mine sells, if you still have this one. How about PMing a phone number? |

Howdy, I used to be on here all the time but it has been awhile since I've visited; learned a whole lot of useful things on this forum. |

Wow! That is a beautiful R. That bike is worth every penny that you're asking for. It's actually worth more in my opinion. Good luck with the sale. |

Thank you, I priced it at what i thought would sell without having to negotiate or haggle. I am torn between keeping it and selling it but I bought a new BMW s1000rr and don't really need two bikes... If it doesn't sell this summer for $5k I'm going to keep it.

Hmmm you will miss that more then you think. I traded my Cr in on an S1k in 2013. I had another Cr with in 4 months. Keep her. I never did bond well with the s1k and now I am going to sell it. Its blindingly fast, features out the ass, but it just has no soul. |

Having babysat an S1000RR for a year and having owned an 1125R since '09, I can assure you that the BMW will not fill the same vehicular voids that the Buell does. Sell the 1125 if you must, but buy something with a soul or you'll find yourself regretting the decision. (Hint--the kraut-wagen has no soul. I'm 1/4 German so this isn't racist. LOL) |

I personally think if you don't need the $$ then you should keep the bike simply because two is the perfect number! You can switch back and forth between two bikes. That's just my opinion. I live in CA and commute daily on my bikes. So having two has a lot of practical value to me. GLWS |

If I wasn't getting a k1200s, I wouldn't be selling my 1125r. The 1125 is possibly the best motorcycle platform ever, so much soul, and excitement, but I need a bike that can hold 85mph all day, and the 1125r wasn't meant for that! I recommend you keep it, because you will miss it! |

The 1125R will go 85 for long periods. But I think what you meant was you want a more sport-touring oriented bike. Because you don't need a K1200S to do 85 all day. LOL! My VFR800 will do 100 all day without problems. |

I appreciate the input, I don't NEED the money but it would help with the BMW purchase for sure, and if it doesn't sell this summer I'm going to keep it. |

FWIW the BMW dealer gave me $5000 for my CR and it wasn't near as nice as your R. They then rolled in in the showroom while I was standing there and place a $6700 sticker on it. It was gone 3 weeks later. |

My local Honda dealer gave me $3,800 for my '08 1125R with approximately 35k-37k miles (instrument cluster was replaced and never reset so mileage is an estimate). The bike was in very good condition though and ran like a champ. So it looked good and ran very well. |
