I bought my CR with around 12,200 miles on it last fall and had the local HD dealership do a 10k mile service. Fast forward 6 months and 700 miles, left front fork starts puking oil. It was my understanding the fork seal was going to be replaced, and I don't think they did. Does anyone know where I can find a Buell/HD list of what is included in a 10k service? |

Owner's manual has it. |

There is no 10k service on the 1125s, that is for the air cooled bikes. Service intervals on the 1125s are in kilometers, 1000km (620 miles), 10000km (6200 miles), 20000km (12,400 miles), etc. The owners and service manuals have the service intervals and the details of what is getting done. Off the top of my head, fork oil (oil only) is at 18.6k miles, I don't recall any service intervals changing the fork seals, but I'll have to dig into the manuals tonight to confirm. |

To be honest, I'd just go ahead and throw new fork seals on when you do your fork oil @ 18.6k mi. Both of mine leaked before 15k mi, and I'm light on the bike in every way (no stoppies/wheelies). If you make it to ~19k mi on the original seal, pat yourself on the back, but still take them off and throw new ones on while the oil's out. |

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping the dealership put seals in it, not the case. The local Yamaha dealership quoted half the price as HD, so they'll be installing the seals. Made it to 14,000ish on original seals. Previous owner must have been gentle on it . |

COunt on replacing the dust seals as well. You will most likely destroy those trying to removed them to do the fork seals. |
