Why does it matter if he's posting anonymous or not? Maybe hes embarrassed because its a relatively dumb question as asked.. Find some K&N cone filters that fit the intake diameters? I believe i've seen photos of someone doing it on an 1125. Problem solved.. | ||

Theres a guy that put a big ass fuel injection intake off of a car protruding through the air box. Do a search it will turn up. | ||

Posting as anonymous requires explicit permission, as stated in the rules quoted above. The options exist because there are times when someone will need to protect their identity, but asking a question regarding the intake is not one of them. | ||

i don't think the cones will fit the application. i'll see what i can hack up. for the curious: me and the bike went off a cliff last year. the engine is somehow unscathed. i limped out of the ER 9 hours later with a little internal leaking and a lot of soft-tissue damage. i'm still working on getting my range-of-motion back, but i'm mostly functional. two weeks before the accident i lost the lower-end in my sportster. a couple weeks ago i was lamenting my woes in the garage with a buddy. beer was involved. we're thinking of a motor swap in the sportster. just for shiggles. about the anonymous: nothing nefarious. was just curious what that check-box did. sounds like a jackass rule to me but maybe you dont have a real web programmer who can make tiered accounts for such things  | ||

Definitely going to be an engineering feat mounting that to a down tube frame. If going to all that effort,It would look much better in a tuber. Just my 2.3cents. | ||
