November 2016 would be 7 years after the closure announcement; that's how long Harley advertised they would support Buell motorcycles. It seems unlikely HD will get rid of remaining Buell parts at that time, but they may no longer re-stock Buell-only parts as they run out, which means it'll get increasingly harder to get parts from your dealer. Hopefully American Sport Bike and Twin Motorcycles will be able to keep our bikes running for a long time after that. |

Hughlysses in Canada all the dealers have to order thru Fred Deely and it is them that are saying they will not be selling us parts.Smoke there is no EBR dealers in Canada so finding one that will ship routine parts to Canada might be tough, when I was looking for the camshaft locking tool I e-mailed 5 dealers none got back to me I started phoning and finally found one that would.Al is great to get parts from but he gets most of his parts from a Harley dealer that he deals with.Have you checked out the shipping costs from T M any ways looks like my 2 1125s are going to become garage queens. |

Knew they were going to be discontinued when I bought the bike. Worse comes to worse, wait for a part out on eBay... We'll be fine |

I have had my 1125cr since 09 and my 96s1 since 97. Latus HD has been able to meet my needs for Buell service and parts for many years. http://www.latus-hd.com/#contact |

Mhpalin, Deeley will no longer be the Canadian distributor for HD or Buell parts/bikes to Canadian dealers but HD USA will take over those duties directly, no longer using Deeley as the sole parts/bike distributor in Canada. MILWAUKEE, and VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Feb. 26, 2015 – Harley-Davidson (NYSE:HOG) will transition to a model of direct distribution to independently owned dealers in Canada by July 31, 2017, when the company’s current agreement ends with Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada, the exclusive distributor of Harley-Davidson products in Canada since 1973. The two companies are also in discussions about a possible agreement to move up the transition in Canadian operations to as early as the third quarter of 2015. As to your phone calls.....Sorry, but dealer employes are very poorly informed. All will be ok (Message edited by MitchG on April 05, 2015) |

>>>.Sorry, but dealer employes are very poorly informed. All will be ok Precisely my thinking. I've got a Ulysses and have zero worries . . . I can still get parts, quite easily, for my 1952. |
