I bought the bike awhile ago and was replacing the spark plugs yesterday and realized the o2 Sensor was unplugged. The bike came with the PC V installed. Is the o2 Sensor supposed to be unplugged or plugged in? Sorry i know it's a noob question. Any info would be much appreciated as I can't fins anything about it. Thanks!!!

Hey, Cody,
I don't know the answer to that, but if you are in Gilbert, there is a group of Buell riders that meet the first Monday of every month. On the second, they are meeting at Chases's Diner. There are about 10 guys who meet regularly, with tubers, a couple xb's, some 1125's, and when we are around (not very often) some EBR's. Good resources. Look on the Storm Fronts thread and under Arizona Buellers.

Instructions (for an '09 1125) say "The stock O2 sensor will no longer be connected to anything. It can be removed from the exhaust if desired." for both the front and rear O2 sensor.

So - per the instructions - the O2 sensors should be left unplugged,

With the PCV the 02 must be unplugged. You can leave the sensor in place or replace it with an 02 Plug.

You guys are awesome thank you so much!! And one other question, the last week before I noticed it was unplugged it started to sputter when riding, in any gear and any RPM, at steady throttle it would sputter. Any idea what that would've been? I figured it was the o2 sensor cuz when I plugged the o2 sensor back in it stopped sputtering. Thanks again guys and LJM that sounds awesome! I'm always looking for other Buellers to ride with!

Yes, I want a package that will modify Fuel AND Spark.
But that option seems constrained - Bazazz and Dobeck are both "fuel only" in their tuning changes.

Kevin Drum said He has a system that boosts 1125 -> 1190 top end power when coupled with the Dobeck option.
I WILL see soon.

Zac4mac.... What have you found out? I am very interested in what you feel are all the different parts (name brands) and how they all should work together. Any news yet?

My 2008 1125R ran better than original with the race ecm/K&N with stock muffler. The race ecm quit working after only about 30 hours time on it. Should I put it in the trash, send it back to EBR racing or do something else with it?

The old ecm is reinstalled but I want a better running 1125R. Much better.

First, contact EBR at tech@ebracing
Give them the story on the race ECM, they will most likely say send it to them.
I would love to get the tunable ECM and software from EBR for my 1125 but it always shows as "out of stock".

I've put 130 miles on my RS and I don't think it needs any tuning..
WFO passing a couple of cars, front end started to lift at 100mph!!!
